Police told IANS that they suspected some close associates for the murder. The body was discovered late on Friday.

When the 25-year-old woman did not reach home in the evening, a frantic search was made for her. Police found her car in a desolate place on Poiya Ghat Road near the Yamuna bank.

Police finally broke open the nanotechnology laboratory of the institute where her body lay in blood.

The researcher was doing her PhD and lived in a nearby apartment with her brother and mother.
