The Agra Police will take an oath to this effect at Reserve Police Lines on Sunday and would vow to remain away from any corruption while introducing a departmental helpline to address corruption.

Asim Arun called a meeting at Police Lines which was attended by senior police officers and other staff. Arun asked policemen to give up corruption and listed seven reasons for corruption in a rather candid manner.

An eleven point Anti Corruption Policy was drafted and citizens were asked to complain about corrupt policemen by dialing 100.

The DIG assured citizens of speedy action on complaints against corrupt policemen.
