He suggested to the younger generation to go out and see the vast country and the world to realise how varied life was and what were the opportunities before them. He said youths should equip themselves with deep study of modern science and information technology .

He said youths should equip themselves with deep study of modern science and information technology and should also possess adequate knowledge of English.
The Governor threw light on the historical important of the region and said it was the resting place of Buddha and Kabir who were in quest of eternal truth and peace and their teachings had become more relevant in these troubled times.
The Governor also confirred the degree of Doctor of Science (Hon) on noted scientist AS Kolaskar and D Lit on former head of department of English in Aligarh Muslim University Prof Asloob Ahmad Ansari.
In his short stay of around one and a half hours, the Governor also laid the foundation stone of various departments in the university, including electronic building and Laxmibai Girl’s Hostel entrance gate.
He also laid the foundation stone for campus computer networking.
The Governor also visited Aurangabad village famous for its terracotta art.
He minutely observed the sculptures manufactured by the village people and congratulated Gulab Chand Prajapati and Lal Chand Prajapati and suggested that they design elephants of Tamil Nadu and statues of Lord Buddha.
He also advised the sculptors to send their wards to schools and not to remain dependent on traditional art for their loving.
Though the Governor had to visit Chauri Chaura to pay tribute to martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the freedom movement, at the last minute his programme was changed and cutting short his visit to Aurangabad, he returned to Lucknow.
