Air commodore Sriram takes charge

AIR COMMODORE S Sriram took over the command of 24 Equipment Depot, Manauri during a ceremonial parade on Tuesday. An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Air Commodore Sriram was commissioned in the logistics branch of the Indian Air Force on July 14, 1973.

An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Air Commodore Sriram was commissioned in the logistics branch of the Indian Air Force on July 14, 1973.

He completed his MBA from Pune University in 1987 and proceeded to undergo the Staff Course at Defence Service Staff College, Wellington.

After undergoing a Defence Management course at the College of Defence Management in 2002, he joined the faculty as instructor for two years. Before coming to Manauri, he was serving as principal director, procurements, at Air Headquarters.
