It’s not just a new 100-bed hospital but a super-specialty one with unique features being brought to the city for the first time.

“I always dreamt about setting up such a hospital that provided complete care and even assisted patients financially with co-operation from all sides. The dream has come true,” said Dr AK Srivastava, the brain behind the unique concepts at the hospital.

The hospital is planning, in collaboration with the Nanital Bank, to introduce loan facilities for major surgeries. This would be available though the hospital for patients being treated there. The treatment costs, at such a multi-facility hospital, are low by 25 per cent as compared to costs at other metros or even New Delhi. The authorities claimed that the rates at Divine Hospital could well be compared with those at the SGPGI.

For the senior citizens, the hospital is launching a round-the-clock healthcare scheme that will include, after a nominal registration charge, ambulance and hospital services as well.

This would benefit specially those elderly who have had a heart attack in the past or are vulnerable to a stroke. They can get the ambulance or the doctors just in few minutes of making the phone call from their residence only. The hospital’s inauguration function on March 3 would be held at 4 pm. Apart from the President, Governor TV Rajeswar would also attend the function.
