Allahabad HC stays Rahul Bajaj’s arrest in cheating case
An FIR, lodged by petitioner Asha and Companies on March 30 this year, alleged that Bajaj had committed forgery by encashing a crossed cheque in spite of the payment being made earlier.

An FIR, lodged by petitioner Asha and Companies on March 30 this year, alleged that Bajaj had committed forgery by encashing a crossed cheque in spite of the payment being made earlier.
Hearing a writ petition filed by Rahul Bajaj, a division bench comprising justice Bala Krishna Narayana and Justice Shashi Kant directed Bajaj to return the cheque to the trader concerned within a period of 10 days. The court passed the above order after hearing both sides.
