A local resident has filed a complaint in the court of judicial magistrate against rapper Honey Singh demanding ban on his music albums.

In the complaint moved through advocate Sandeep Sachdeva under Sections 291 (continuance of nuisance after injunction to discontinue), 292 (sale, etc, of obscene books, etc) and 294 (obscene acts and songs) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology (IT) Act, Sanjay Khera has pleaded that Singh's songs were vulgar and obscene in nature, and not fit to be aired.
He said that songs should be withdrawn from social networking websites. The case will come for hearing on February 6.
