The judges' panel consisted of eminent writers and fashion designers from Kolkata, who unanimously voted for Choco Fudge, which will take pride of place at all ITC hotels across the country as the new masterpiece - 'The Welcomcookie'.
Through the contest in Kolkata, ITC Hotels aims to give a boost to the confectionery whose appeal transcends all age groups, a press release from the hotel group said.
During the three-day workshop period, ITC chefs put their collective skills together and created 72 cookies and an internal panel of judges finally short-listed 15 cookies.
The chefs then put their collective skills together to perfect the short-listed cookies, which were presented for final assessment Tuesday.
