Two of the students unions in the city on Saturday threatened to intensify their agitation against Bollywood actor Aamir Khan if he does not retract his statements on Narmada dam issue and apologise to the people of Gujarat.
The MS University students union members at a protest rally crushed bottles of a cold drink which Aamir endorses, and urged the people of Gujarat to ban products promoted by the actor.
The Hitrakshak Sena also criticised Aamir for his alleged remarks on the Gujarat government's handling of the May Day communal violence in the city.
