The Mhow Cantonment Board (MCB) on Monday launched a drive to remove encroachments in Hyderabadi Basti in Mhow amidst tight security.
Fifteen illegal constructions were razed to the ground by the MCB amidst high security provided by over 300-odd security men.
Police lathicharged several times as residents angry over their homes being razed pelted stones.
Two employees of MCB along with three media persons were also injured in heavy stone pelting.
