Acting on a tip-off, the BSF personnel conducted search in the hill top village on Wednesday and recovered one AK-47, one grenade and many live cartridges from near a hut.

Police said the insurgents of outlawed National Liberation Front of Tripura (Biswamohan group) use the village and neighbouring villages as their transit route from Chittagong hill tract of neighbouring Bangladesh where the ultras have their base camps.
