The spokesman of state unit of BJP Kipa Babu, MLA, in a release, referred to recent sting operations by some TV channels exposing some MPs taking kickbacks and said even MPs of Arunachal Pradesh were allegedly involved in such activities in the past.

In view of these allegations political parties should evolve suitable measures to check misappropriation of such funds.

He said during elections in the state, candidates were compelled to distribute cash and other materials to woo voters and such issues required to be discussed at all party meetings. A unanimous decision should be taken and suitable legislation should be passed in the state assembly for this purpose.
