The 'bicycle', a mode of transport of majority of the common people, is the symbol of ruling TDP while the main opposition party Congress has its recognised symbole 'hand' and BJP's symbol is 'lotus'.
Aspiring to make inroad in Telangana region, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), led by former deputy speaker of the state assembly K Chandrasekhar Rao, who formed the party after quitting TDP, has been allotted 'car' symbol.
