EVEN AS Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today reaffirmed his government’s seriousness towards dealing with the attackers on Christians, a group of hoodlums created panic among school children and their parents in front of the Carmel Convent School by raising provocative slogans today.

Also, PCC chief Subhash Yadav and leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi visited Kabeetpura in Indore where two pastors had been thrashed up for distributing propagandist pamphlets about Christianity.

Talking to newspersons after launching the Samadhan Online programme, the Chief Minister asserted that he has taken the incidents of attacks on Christians seriously and directives have been issued to deal with the miscreants firmly.

On another question, Chouhan, who is also State BJP president, clarified that the issue of action against the rebel party MLAs would be dealt with the BJP’s central committee.

Four MLAs have openly defied the party in support of expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti. They are Sunil Nayak, Jalam Singh Patel, Rasal Singh and Harishankar Chadar.
