Hemang Badani's century kept the crowds entertained as the New Zealanders' tour game against India A at Rajkot ended in a predictable draw on the third and final day.

India A were finally bowled out for 403 — a lead of 28 runs — soon after Badani fell for 127.

Munaf Patel and Murali Kartik posed a few problems as New Zealanders began their reply, each grabbing two wickets apiece, to reduce the tourists to 68 for four when play was called off.
