Ban on calculators in MP Board exams

MP BOARD of Secondary Education today clarified a ban on carrying any kind of calculator during the higher secondary and high school exams that will begin from March 1 and March 2 respectively.

MP BOARD of Secondary Education today clarified a ban on carrying any kind of calculator during the higher secondary and high school exams that will begin from March 1 and March 2 respectively.

According to the board’s press statement issued here today, students would not be allowed to carry simple calculator, scientific calculator, pager, mobile phone or computers to the examination centre. Action will be taken against those students found guilty.

To help students, question papers will be distributed 15 minutes before the scheduled time so that they are able to read it. However, there is no change in the time to be given for solving the question paper. The exam would start at 10 am and end at 1 pm.

The board has requested students to reach the centre by 9.15 am on their first day of exam. All invigilators have been sent letters to follow the instructions strictly.
