Bansal new MoS in Finance Ministry

Pawan Kumar Bansal, who was appointed as Minister of State for Finance on Sunday in cabinet reshuffle, assumed office on Monday.
The Member of Parliament from Chandigarh, Bansal is to look after banking and insurance portfolio in the Finance Ministry. With his induction there would now be two ministers of state in the ministry under Finance Minister P Chidambaram.
The other Minister of State is SS Palanimanickam of DNK, who looks after Revenue Department.
