"I think the institution of marriage and its importance is getting a little lost in the modern world. I want to change that and say that it is one of the most powerful bonds on earth and should be treated so," Barjatya told IANS.

The director of mega hit films like "Maine Pyar Kiya" and "Hum Apke Hain Kaun" is back wielding the megaphone after almost two years after his last "Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon" didn't do as well as expected.

Barjatya, whose banner Rajshri Films has always stood for traditional Indian family values, has decided that he would stick to what he calls his core audience.

"We have realised that the Rajshri audience expects certain values from us and wants to see a certain kind of cinema from us.

"With 'Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon' we wanted to cater to a more youthful, modern audience. We are now going to cater to our core audience."

And Barjatya, who has always portrayed the idyllic family in his films, said his new film too would deal with this theme.

"I have always believed in the family. It doesn't always have to be a joint family, it can be a nuclear family but even within a nuclear family there can be wonderful bonds.

"And I don't think many people realise that marriage is a very powerful bond, it can really stand the test of time. I want to portray the strength of a good marriage in my film - that is the most important thing to me."
