Bell to star as Aguilera's rival in Burlesque

Actress Kristen Bell is all set to play singer Christina Aguilera's rival in the musical drama Burlesque.

Bell will play Nikki, who is a dancer and main attraction at the club and goes out of control when Aguilera's character suddenly steals her spotlight.

Singer Cher will seen as the nightclub owner, while Stanley Tucci plays the man who helps Aguilera transform from a simpleton to a looker.

Shooting will begin Nov 9 and a release date is planned for 2010 Thanksgiving.
