Following the ‘Dreamgirls’ star are actresses Scarlett Johansson at the second spot and Jessica Alba at the third position, in the poll consisting of 8.5 million respondents.

Supermodel Adriana Lima is at the fourth place and actress Jessica Biel rounds off the top five in the survey, which asked readers to rate the celebrities on attributes like strength, personality and intelligence

"Beyonce's jump was one of the biggest ones on the list, from No50 in 2006 to the top spot this year,” The Sun quoted the site’s editor, James Bassil, as saying.
