CHIEF MINISTER Shivraj Singh Chauhan released a brochure of the 'Rashtriya Swadeshi Kumbh Mela' to be held at Chiman Bag grounds from May 6 to 14. He also met a delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Swadeshi Sangh led by State PWD Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and reviewed the preparations for the Mela. Vijayvargiya informed Chouhan that various Swadeshi products would be sold at the fair.
He further said that the visitors would get a glimpse of Indian culture at the Mela. Yoga and medical camps would be held from 5 to 7 pm everyday. Swadeshi Sangh national coordinator Rajesh Porwal, programme coordinator Kalyan Mundra, executive president Pritam Lal Dua, Rajesh Sharma, Gautam Kothari, Gaurav Mittal and Swadeshi Shanti Sena head Pravin Raghuvanshi participated in the meeting.

BoI’s sixth ATM opened
THE SIXTH ATM of the Palasia branch of Bank of India was inaugurated at Janjirwala Square on Tuesday. Madhya Pradesh Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam Chairman Ashish Shrivastav inaugurated the ATM. Shrivastav said that the growth in number of ATMs reflects the technical development of the country. Bank Zonal Manager R C Khurana welcomed the guests. Khurana informed that the Bank also provides facilities like Internet banking, e-Pay, Star connect and e-Remit etc.
He said that all 19 branches of the bank in the City have been connected to ATMs. Corporation General Manager Ranka, Bank Assistant General Manager M K Gandhi and Palasia branch Chief Manager Gautam Sinha were present at the inauguration. Sudhir Choudhary conducted the programme and Gautam Sinha proposed the vote of thanks.
Plot allotment on March 12
INDORE DEVELOPMENT Authority (IDA) would allot plots to Iron traders in Scheme number 78, which is the new business centre for Indore Loha Vyapari Association, at 2.00 pm on March 12. Association president Devendra Bansal said that 367 members would be allotted plots through lucky draw. Remaining members would get plots in the second phase. The lucky draw would be held in the presence of district Minister in-charge Himmat Kothari, Jayant Mallaiya and State PWD Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya etc.
A cemented road would be constructed in the area. IDA would also provide medical facility, community hall, rest house and water facility to the traders. Each plot would be of 1800-2200 sq ft approximately. Parking, power sub-station, water tank, garden, fire station and weighing machine have already been provided in the new business centre.
