"The situation of Poonch and Rajouri districts are not conducive in view of infiltration and ongoing militancy activities in the belt. Therefore any move to withdraw troops from the border belts would be a blunder and disastrous for the security set up," senior BJP leader Kuldeep Raj Gupta told reporters here.

"The menace of militancy has not been ended completely and removal of security forces is in no way in the interest of people," he said.
