Although BJP lost Sawai Madhopur seat from where Union minister Jaskaur Meena was humbled by NN Meena of Congress by over 1.11 lakh votes and Alwar where its candidate Chand Nath lost to KS Yadav of Congress, it wrested Banswara and Nagaur seats from its rivals and is leading in Bikaner, Udaipur, Salumber, and Jalore held by Congress in dissolved Lok Sabha.
BJP had 16 seats in the dissolved Lok Sabha while Congress had nine.
Congress has established commanding lead in Dausa and Jhunjhunu and leading in Ganganagar also.
Union Minister Kailash Meghwal has retained his Tonk (SC) seat while his colleague Subhash Meharia is leading in Sikar.
Bollywood actor and BJP nominee Dharmendra is leading by over 16,413 votes in Bikaner while former PCC chief Girija Vyas, a member of dissolved Lok Sabha, is trailing by over 50,600 vote in Udaipur against her BJP rival Kiran Maheshwari.
Congress candidates Buta Singh and Balram Jakhar are also trailing acording to trends available from Jalore and Churu.
