BJP to be a constructive Oppn: Mahajan

Bharatiya Janata Party convenor Mahajan said that the party will perform the role of an aggressive, but constructive Opposition.

BJP on Saturday accepted defeat in the Maharashtra Assembly elections and said that the party will perform the role of an aggressive and constructive Opposition.

"In democracy people are god. Sometimes they support someone while at other times they don't," BJP General Secretary Pramod Mahajan told reporters in Mumbai.

He said that people must have found some fault in "dedication and service" of the party that led to it not being voted to power.

"We will play the role of an aggressive, but constructive Opposition," the BJP leader added.
