BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar, however, did not spell out what kind of moves his party would take. Nor did he announce any immediate plans about visits to Nithari in Uttar Pradesh by leaders of the party from Delhi.
"We will take strong action if the Uttar Pradesh government does not order a CBI inquiry within 48 hours into the gravest crime," he told reporters in New Delhi.
He also sought a directive from the Central government to the state in this regard. Javadekar statement came a day after, party chief Rajnath Singh demanded a CBI investigation into the killings of children and women in Nithari after stunning discovery of their skeletons.
