While Stubbs had previously triumphed at the All England Club in 2001 with American Lisa Raymond, it was a first grand slam women's doubles crown for Zimbabwean Black.
Black could end up having a busy final day of the championships with potentially two more matches to play in the mixed doubles.
After a rest, she and brother Wayne face Americans Bob Bryan and Lindsay Davenport in the last four with the winners taking on Todd Woodbridge and Alicia Molik in the final.
Japan's Sugiyama had won the women's title with Kim Clijsters last year but teamed up with South African Huber after the Belgian skipped the tournament with a wrist injury.
In the semis on Saturday, Huber and Sugiyama beat Raymond and Martina Navratilova, bringing an end to the 47-year-old Navratilova's Wimbledon career.
