Blood donation: Rally taken out by Nirankari Mandal

HUNDREDS OF Saint Nirankari Mandal volunteers took out a rally to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation. The procession was taken in Civil Lines here on Saturday.

District magistrate Amrit Abhijat flagged off the rally by of balloons as a mark of peace and harmony. The rally passed through the MG Marg, Nawab Yusuf Road, SP Marg and terminated at Shubash Crossing.

A large number of tableaux and Nirankari flags added colour to the rally. The Nirankari Mandal will organise a blood donation camp at Nirankari Bhawan in Bihrana. Children were carrying placards encouraging blood donation.
