Bob Geldof voted best celebrity dad

Live Aid maestro Bob Geldof is the best celebrity dad, according to an online poll of famous fathers.

The ex-Boomtown Rats singer has won competition from David Beckham, Brad Pittt and Jihhny Depp, after bagging 23 per cent of the total votes cast by surfers of remind4u.com.

Geldof, 55, won admiration for adopting ex-wife Paula Yates’s daughter Tiger Lily by singer Michael Hutchence after they died.

English skipper David Beckham, who has three kids with wife Victoria Beckham came in second with 20 per cent of the votes, beating Jamie Oliver with 17 per cent of votes.

The fourth and fifth slot were captured by Jonathan Ross with 15 per cent of the votes and Johnny Depp with 5 per cent of the votes repectively.
