Body of three-year-old found in drain
An unidentified body of a three-year old girl child was found in a drain on the outskirts of Kakinada city in east Godavari district in Rajahmundry, police said.

An unidentified body of a three-year old girl child was found in a drain on the outskirts of Kakinada city in east Godavari district in Rajahmundry, police said on Tuesday.
Locals found the body of the child in a drain located behind Bhaskara cinema hall in Turangi on Monday night and informed the police, they said.
The bruised body of the child, with injuries on the nose and swollen lips, was found with a bag in her hand, they added.
The body has been shifted to the mortuary at the Government General Hospital in Rajahmundry, they said.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on, police added.
