Yet another movie released giving the Capital yet another excuse to party. But it was not just another party, for it seemed the Capital has finally arrived in the world of entertainment. Steering away from the norm, the Capital hosted the premier of Tumsa Nahin Dekha ahead of Mumbai. And with the stars of the film there to add glamour, things couldn’t have been better.

The evening started with the screening at PVR Gurgaon. The limelight at the intermission was hogged by VJ Ramona who gave out goodies as the audience waited for the cast to show up. However, it was only at the end of the movie that the stars of the evening — Dia Mirza and Emraan Hashmi — finally made an appearance.

The action then shifted to the Europa lounge. Accompanying the hero and heroine of the movie was producer Mukesh Bhatt and Harish Dhyani, the CEO of Saregama. The stars interacted with the media while Bhatt and associates busied themselves with the snacks and the drinks. While Dia set many a heart aflutter with her smile, the girls at the party just couldn’t get enough of Emraan, who was hounded for autographs and photographs.

Dia said, “I had a great time doing the movie and have great expectations from it. Though I am a little nervous about how the film will fare, the fact that this was the very first screening makes it very special.”

Prominent among the absentees was Ajjay Bijli, MD, PVR, who one assumed would be present as the party was hosted at Europa.
