Bomb found at rail station in Dhanbad division

A mishap was averted when a bomb, fitted with a timer device, was found at Kumardhubi railway station in Dhanbad district today.

Railway police sources said the explosive was spotted by an alert passenger on the window of a room at the station in the wee hours.

Railway Protection Force (RPF), Asansol, Commandant R S P Singh and senior Government Reserve Police officer Yogendra Singh rushed to the spot and put the explosive in a bucket of water before it could explode.
