A bomb scare at the Dadar railway station in Mumbai created panic on Tuesday.

Bomb squads and sniffer dogs were pressed into service following an anonymous telephone call about a bomb planted at platform number one of the station.

All local trains have been asked to skip the station until the search is complete.

Search was on and further details were awaited, police said.
