Sources said the police control room received a call around 11 a.m. about a bomb that has been planted inside one of the vehicles parked in the mini-secretariat premises. And soon a huge contingent of police force and dog squad was rushed to the area.

The police scanned all the vehicles parked there, while some were even lifted by cranes. The entire area was cleared of vehicles.

“It was hoax call, nothing beyond that,” said Yashpal Yadav, SDM Faridabad, whose office is also located inside this campus.

The police are, however, verifying details of the phone call which was made from a number registered in the name of Kamal of Chaisa village area near Atali. The police said Kamal and his brother are missing and a search has been launched to find them.
