An abandoned bag found on Firozpur-Janta Express triggered off a bomb scare and a squad was rushed to the Ankleshwar Railway Station in Bharuch district, police said.
"We had received a call that an abandoned bag was found in the Firozpur-Janta Express. The train was halted at the Ankleshwar railway station and was thoroughly searched by the bomb squad and the dog squad," DSP Bharuch, Subhash Trivedi said.
"No explosives were found from the bag or from the train. It was a hoax call but we did not want to take any chances," Trivedi added.
