Bomb threat at district collectorate, Taluk office

Police searched the collectorate office in in Kollam and taluk office at nearby Karunagapally after a bomb threat.

Police, along with a bomb disposal squad, searched the district collectorate building in Kollam and taluk office at nearby Karunagapally after an anonymous caller warned that bombs has been kept in these places.

The call was received in the afternoon at the Additional District Magistrate Office in Kollam, police said.

However, police did not find anything during the search.

The functioning of the court in both the premises were disrupted for some time, police added.
