Bombay HC grants bail to Daya Nayak

The anti-corruption bureau failed to file chargesheet in the disproportionate assets case against the suspended cop.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday granted bail to suspended police sub-inspector Daya Nayak.

Justice VM Kanade granted bail on a surety of Rs 25,000 to Nayak as the anti-corruption bureau failed to file chargesheet in the disproportionate assets case against him within the stipulated 60 days of arrest.

Nayak has been asked by the court to report to the investigating officers as and when required.
