Bombs hurled in poll-bound Orissa city
Two persons hurled two crude bombs and shot one bullet in the air near a foreign liquor shop at Bidyadharpur in Cuttack on Monday night.

Two persons hurled two crude bombs and shot one bullet in the air near a foreign liquor shop at Bidyadharpur in Cuttack on Monday night.
No one was injured, police said.
They came in a motorcycle and threw the bombs onto the liquor shop and escaped firing, Inspector of Chauliaganj Police Station, S K Mohapatra said.
He ruled out any connection between the bombing and ongoing civic election process in Cuttack.
There is no political angle and the incident is suspected be an outcome of a previous rivalry, said Mohapatra.
