Addressing party workers, Taran said that Netaji was instrumental in uniting men and women for freedom movement through his Azad Hind Fauj.
At a function organised by the State wing of Nationalist Congress Party, state president and MLA Hamid Qazi along with other office bearers and party workers paid tribute to the great freedom fighter.
All India Democratic Student’s Organisation district committee organised a march from Bag Sewania in which students of various schools participated. A speech competition was also organised which was followed by a public meeting.
Organisation’s national president Pratap Samal was the chief speaker at the public meeting. At a meet organised by Government Employees Union regional president Raguvir Prasad Sharma demanded a nationwide programme in memory of Subhash Chandra Bose.
