The servant, identified as Sanjay, was missing after the incident. He hails from Madhubani district of Bihar and teams of the Delhi Police have been rushed there in search of him, a senior police official said.

According to the police, he stabbed Pratham Aggarwal and his sisters Prerna and Akriti, aged 13 and nine, with a kitchen knife. Their parents were in another room at the time of the incident.

While the boy succumbed to injuries, the girls have been admitted to Sunder Lal Jain hospital in a critical condition, the official said.

Police said the robbery was not the motive behind the attack as nothing was found missing from the house in Roop Nagar locality and suspect it was a result of resistance by the girls to a molestation attempt by him.

Sanjay had joined the Aggarwals four days ago at the reference of their driver Jeetu, who has been detained for questioning.
