Britain, Nigeria and Gates unveiled an ambitious $56 bn plan to prevent TB deaths over the next decade.

Britain, Nigeria and US software tycoon Bill Gates unveiled an ambitious 56-billion-dollar plan in Davos on Friday to prevent 14 million tuberculosis deaths over the next decade.

Speaking at the launch at the World Economics Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Gates committed to tripling his own foundation's funding against tuberculosis from 300 million dollars to a total of $900 million by 2015.
