Britain seeks Kohli's extradition

Maninder Pal Singh Kohli is the prime accused in the murder of 17-year-old British teenager Hannah Foster.

Britain on Tuesday sought extradition of Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, wanted by it in connection with the murder of British teenager Hannah Foster and arrested in India on July 15.

CBI, which represents Interpol in India, received a request for Kohli's extradition, who is in judicial custody in Punjab, a CBI spokesman said.

Kohli is alleged to have raped and murdered 17-year-old British school girl Hannah Foster in UK.

He escaped to India after committing the crime before being caught in Kalimpong last month.
