British Army delegation visits Infantry School

A BRITISH army delegation headed by the Director of Infantry of British Army Brig Robert Scott Bowden visited Infantry School here along with two other senior officers.

A BRITISH army delegation headed by the Director of Infantry of British Army Brig Robert Scott Bowden visited Infantry School here along with two other senior officers.

Infantry School Officiating Commandant Maj Gen Anand Mohan Verma received the delegation at the Infantry School headquarters. The delegation, on arrival, paid homage to the martyrs in a wreath laying ceremony held at the Infantry Memorial situated on the Mall Road.

Later, the BGS of Infantry School, Brig V S Gulia briefed them about the training activities and projects undertaken at the school and shown the advanced information technology division of Infantry School.

The delegation also witnessed the Young Blood Shooting Championship. Thereafter, the delegation visited the British cemetery and St Andrew cemetery at Mhow and paid obeisance to the British soldiers who passed away in Mhow before 1947. In the evening, a dinner was also hosted at Infantry Mess. The delegation also visited Army War College and MCTE.
