Stunning actress Brittany Murphy has revealed that she made her fiance Joe Macaluso wait for 17 dates before allowing him to kiss her.

The brunette, who claims to have asked Joe out while they were working together on the 2004 movie, Little Black Book, insists that she always believed in the true, old-fashioned romance and hence, kept her relationship strictly platonic for weeks.

"I just knew he was a nice guy - and devastatingly handsome. I asked him to go to the movies and dinner. It was the first time in my life that I ever asked someone on a date," Femalefirst quoted her as saying.

"We made it to date 17 without kissing. It's a true, old-fashioned romance," she added.
