Four police personnel were injured on Monday when they were allegedly attacked by a BSF jawan and his family members in Ahraula area of the district.
The incident occured this morning when station officer Fazil Siddiqui, along with three police personnel, went to serve non-bailable warrant at the residence of Chandrasen, head constable in BSF at Phulwaria village, Superintendent of
Police Bhagwan Swarup said.
He said the warrant was issued by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate against Chandrasen's father and three brothers.
Chandrasen, who is posted in Meghalaya, and his family members had a dispute with the police party and later attacked
the police personnel, he said.
The SP said a case had been lodged against seven persons, including Chandrasen, in this connection.
