BSF jawans injured in militant attack

The paramilitary convoy came under attack at Pampore, 14 km from Srinagar, on the Srinagar-Jammu highway late on Monday night. "A BSF convoy was attacked at Pampore last night, there were some injuries, but all jawans are out of danger,'' a Srinagar-based police spokesman said.
The convoy was on its way to the camp at Pantachowk on the outskirts of Srinagar when it was attacked.
The attackers, however, managed to escape after committing the crime.
The attack came a few hours before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's second visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
Modi will inaugurate two power projects at Leh and Kargil in the Ladakh region.
Earlier, two BSF jawans were injured in firing by the Pakistani army in RS Pura on Sunday night.
