A local Bahujan Samaj Party activist was stabbed to death on Wednesday night by a group of people allegedly nursing an old enmity against him, police said.

Thiry eight-year-old Satyavelu, General Secretary of Bahujan Samaj Party's Bangalore unit, was talking to a friend near his sister's house at Frazer town when the six member group that came in a car attacked him.
He was facing a case of attack and robbery in a city police station.
Sathyavelu tried to escape, but the attackers chased and stabbed him in the neck and stomach. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital, police said.
