Bunty, Sarita to be brought to UT on June 13
The Sonepat police will produce dismissed Chandigarh cop Basant alias Bunty and his paramour Sarita, who were held on Sunday in connection with three murders, in Chandigarh court on June13.

"The Chandigarh police will take Basant and Sarita in their custody," Rai station house officer (SHO) inspector Sultan Singh, who led a team that arrested the duo from a hotel in New Delhi, said. The duo is wanted in connection with the murder of UT inspector Sucha Singh.
"Since the Sonepat police have recovered the self-loading rifle (SLR) with which Basant killed Sarita's husband and mother-in law at Sonepat's Deeplapur village and Maruti Swift DZire car in which they escaped after the committing the double murder, we are ready to hand over the duo to the Chandigarh police," the SHO said.
Basant and Sarita were remanded to judicial custody on Monday.
About the knife used to stab Sucha, Sultan said: "Basant hid the knife in a forest after abandoning the police gypsy at Dhanas village near Chandigarh."Women commission soon to hold courts in all districts.
