Superintendent of Police SR Rana flagged off resumption of state-owned bus service from the district headquarters of Keylong to Darcha, official sources said.
Lahual & Spiti, also known as the "cold desert", was cut off from the rest of the world by road from December 15 last due to heavy snowfall.
Government-run helicopter service was the only means to move in and out of the district during this period.
