Buta Singh bereaved

Former Union Home Minister and former Governor of Bihar Buta Singh had been bereaved. His 'behnoi'(sister's husband) Pooran Singh breathed his last on Monday. Puran Singh was about a hundred year old.

His 'behnoi'(sister's husband) Pooran Singh breathed his last on Monday. Puran Singh was about a hundred year old.

The deceased was father of former Punjab Minister Joginder Singh Mann who had been Congress MLA from Phagwara thrice.

Puran Singh is survived by his widow, four sons and a daughter. Bhajan Singh, eldest son of Puran Singh, lit the pyre at his cremation.

Age, coupled with ill health, caused the end of Pooran Singh this morning.

Besides Buta Singh, Kanwaljit Singh Lali, a former MLA, placed wreaths on the body.
