Cabinet not to package for migrants, transfer of officers

The state cabinet has accorded approval for the return and rehabilitation package in favour of Jammu migrants amounting to Rs. 91.56 crore and its submission to the government of India for sanctioning of the package and allotment of funds.

The state cabinet has accorded approval for the return and rehabilitation package in favour of Jammu migrants amounting to Rs. 91.56 crore and its submission to the government of India for sanctioning of the package and allotment of funds.

Meanwhile, the cabinet has ordered several transfers and postings in the administration. Shaleen Kabra, commissioner secretary youth service and sports and technical education, holding additional charge of the post of the commissioner secretary to the government, health and medical education department has been transferred and posted as commissioner-secretary to the government, health and medical education department.

BA Runyal, chairman, J&K Special Tribunal has been transferred and posted as Commissioner secretary to the government, labour and employment department, relieving Farooq Ahmad Peer, commissioner secretary to the government, rural development department, of the additional charge of the post.

Sarita Chouhan, has been posted as chairman, J&K Special Tribunal, vice BA Runiyal. Paarvez Ahmad Malik, director, Command Area Development, Jammu has been transferred and posted as secretary, youth services and sports and technical education department vice Shaleen Kabra. Nirmal Sharma has been posted as managing director, J&K handloom development corporation vice Sarita Chouhan.

Hemant Kumar Sharma, special secretary, higher education department, has been transferred and posted as director, Command Area Development Jammu vice Parvez Ahmad Malik.
